Thank you for all the get well thoughts! They are helping. Yesterday was really rough, but today I feel slightly better. I'm still running a fever but at least food is staying put and my body isn't trying to destroy itself from the inside out. Now, please allow a sick gal some ranting rights...
Is it too much to ask that the Kleenex people NOT stuff the box so full of kleenex so that when I've got a noseful of gunk coming out I reach for a tissue and can only pull out that half that tears? Seriously, I've wanted to cut the darn box apart and just lay the stack on the nightstand.
Grrrr kleenex. If I wasn't as weak as a newborn kitten I'd totally kick your square butt.

At least you didn't get the surprise I did when I swiped a kleenex off the desk of a co-worker last wee - they're putting Vick's vapo-rub in them now! SO not the experience I was expecting!
Lindsey: Yes, I took today off and tomorrow. I'm still running a very low grade fever this morning and feeling kind of sick to my stomach (I think from the drainage) but figured one more day couldn't hurt.
Melissa: It would be lost on me at the moment. I had some Vicks but thought it was old because I couldn't smell a thing. My friend brought me some supplies (crackers, kleenex, and vicks) and turns out I can't smell the new one either. I guess that means I'm a little stopped up. LOL
Hope you are feeling better! My son bought some Puffs with Vicks on them, I think they are gross, but everyone else is sick and they think they are awesome!
Stay in bed!! And kick some kleenex butt! ha! SEriously, hope you feel better soon. It has slowly been traveling around my classroom - this nasty bug everyone is catching.
And here I thought I was the only one who couldn't get those first few out of the box, makes me nuts!
I LOVE the Vicks in the kleenex, at the very least, the lotion ones, if I'm blowing and blowing, it helps to have that, keeps the redness down to a minimum!

Glad you're feeling a little better! About the Kleenex...at least you get your money's worth, right? And hey, go ahead & take 'em out of the box if you want to. It's your house & you can do whatever you want to with your tissues!
Well at least you still have your sense of humor. You could do what we rednecks do -- forget the Kleenex and cuddle up with a roll of squeezably soft Charmin. :)
