Altered

This is my latest crafty project. I took a class on making altered clipboards several weeks ago. I made one for a friend that had just come back from Cozumel. This one is for a friend that is going to Tahiti. Anyway, they are totally cheap (those friends that got them don't take that the wrong way!) and I like making them!

The saying says "The secret to a rich life is to have more beginnings than endings."

I popped in here the 1st time and all I saw was the pic....now I see the post to go with it.

I would classify this as girly stuff huh?

*snickers*

Hey...btw...have you heard anything on the job interview yet?

Mike: Yes, this is girly stuff. And as for the interview...it went well and she said she'd set up the next interview with the person that would do the hiring. I haven't heard back so I called this morning and apparently she's only in the office about 5 hours a week so getting in touch with her is hard. As far as I'm concerned I'm not holding my breath. I'm going to assume that this is like all the past job interviews...I'm not what they are looking for and I'm going to assume it's not for me.

Now I'm depressed...I need a hobby like Deb's...lol.

Aw pumpkin (seriously)...don't assume the worst if she's only in the office 5 days a week.

5 hours...not days...I need to proof read occasionally...lol

Mike: Thanks. I just hate waiting. I guess patience isn't a virtue of mine. At least I've worked every day this week and since Friday is a holiday I'm going shopping for Easter shoes and a bag. Shopping always makes me feel better. And your proof goof was nice too. :o)

Oh wow--this is great! So Steff has talent not only in writing, but she's quite the artist! I love the picture and I also love the meaning behind it. So true!!

Jamie: Well I'm having to rely on the feelings of others because I don't have a good feeling. And I LOVE the clipboards. I'll probably make some as Christmas presents.

Deb: Thanks! I'm a very good copier...I probably wouldn't have come up with the idea on my own. And I choose the beginnings saying because this might be the trip where she says yes to the proposal so I thought it was appropraite!

Hey, Hey... that's me. I'm the friend that's going to Tahiti. :)

The clipboard is lovely. I have it hanging already and can hardly wait to have a photo to put on it. Thank you.

Bethany: Yep...that's you! I'm glad that you like it. :o)

Cheryl: Thanks! We have a scrapbook store in my town and I love to take classes when I can. I have my own clipboard that I made that I can actually use as a clipboard (the teacher in me!) but they can also become altered photo frames. It is modge podge, paper, ribbon, and any embellishments you want to add.
